The Climate Center Group at DRI

The Climate Center Group at DRI is comprised of a core interdisciplinary team of researchers and staff that are experts in climate science, decision support research, climate data services and tools, climate monitoring and observations, climate adaptation actions, wildland fire, drought, user engagement, and climate data capacity building. Collectively, our team focuses on 1) research that has national, regional, and local impacts in climate science and climate adaptation; and 2) building relationships with partners in Nevada and across the region.
We do this through long-term funding from federal agencies dedicated to providing climate services and climate adaption/capacity building and a portfolio of individual projects from a variety of federal, state, and private funding sources. Our success is built on creating a network of successful partnerships across the region dedicated to developing knowledge-to-action partnerships with state and local agencies, organizations, and community groups to support climate community resiliency across the state and region.
