Nevada Robotics is honored to be included in the line-up of partners who will be tabling at the Nevada Department of Education’s Family Engagement Summit Resource Fair from 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Saturday September 13 at the Northwest Career and Technical Academy.
This event is a sponsored by the Nevada Department of Education and the Clark County School District with the goal of bringing “together families/caregivers, educators, and community partners in supporting students with:
-Family and Community Resources
-Mental health, school safety, and academic success strategies
-Strong two-way communication between families and schools”
Nevada Robotics will offer demonstrations and provide hands-on activities for families using robots, building materials, and storybooks. The first 200 families to visit the Nevada Robotics table will receive a free copy of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin, Jr., as well as information on at home literacy and STEM activities.
