Nevada Robotics is proud to continue its partnership with Douglas County Schools this year by providing support for the Thursday September 11 Literacy and STEM Night at Gardnerville Elementary School.

In Spring 2025, 27 Douglas County PreK/K educators participated in Nevada Robotics three-part METRICS – Mentoring Educators Teaching Robotics and Innovation in Computer Science – professional development.  The teachers explored using robots as learning tools to teach technology/computer science, math, and literacy/ELA standards using lessons called Books and Bots. These lessons, which are a Nevada Robotics original innovation, partner popular story books with activities to enhance basic concepts in a variety of disciplines.
