Books+Bots PreK-5 Educator Professional Development using robots as tools to teach math, computer science, and ELA.

PreK – 5th grade educators are invited to join the Nevada Robotics team this month for a Books & Bots training. Refresh your VEX 123 skills, get paid, receive free resources, and enjoy a meal with fellow educators.

Books & Bots is a curriculum developed by Nevada Robotics staff that partners high-quality picture books with robotics lessons to promote literacy and teach computer science. All lessons meet state computer science, math, and ELA standards. Lessons may also meet art standards. Each lesson provides the opportunity for teachers to incorporate Social Emotional Learning competencies and art standards.
