Community Support for Nevada Robotics

Earlier this year, Click Bond, Inc.’s Community Outreach Team generously supported the DRI Nevada Robotics STEM Education Program with a financial contribution and student mentorship support.

Proceeds from Click Bond’s Valentine candy-gram employee fundraiser, which were matched through its Employee Charitable Giving Match program, were donated to Nevada Robotics to help ensure students have equitable access to computer science and STEM education. Also, this spring, Click Bond engineers met with the Project ROSE (Remote Operated Sample Extraction) team to consult on its drone prototype to capture snow samples in remote areas. Project ROSE is a collaboration with DRI’s cloud-seeding Weather Modification Team and Nevada Robotics student employees.

“Click Bond’s support of Nevada Robotics and its involvement in Project ROSE are perfect examples of the powerful impact that a collaboration between academia, research, and industry partners can produce,” said AJ Long, Nevada Robotics Program Manager.
