Dana Trimble
Title: Assistant Research Scientist Professional InterestsMs. Dana L. Trimble is an Assistant Research Scientist for the DAS at DRI, and has served as the laboratory manager of the Environmental Analysis Facility’s Carbon Analysis Laboratory since 2004. Ms. Trimble is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the carbon analysis lab and supervises the carbon analysts. She determines the work schedule for technicians and carbon analysis, and ensures the operation of the laboratory 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. She has over 14 years of experience in supervising laboratory operations and database administration. She also performs Level I and II validation for IMPROVE and for U.S. EPA's Chemical Speciation Network (CSN) carbon data. Ms. Trimble serves as a lead contact person for several projects, including the National Park Service, to discuss analyses status and contract matters. She is also responsible for validating, compiling, and reporting carbon analysis data for EAF. Additionally, Ms. Trimble serves as the EAF’s database manager. She has been involved in compiling and reporting continuous data from the Fresno and St. Louis Supersites to various sponsors including the California Air Resources Board and the Environmental Protection Agency. She serves as a lead contact person for data requests and assists with database development and programming. In addition, Ms. Trimble supervises multiple technical staff and works closely with the financial administrator to monitor contracts and ensures accurate and timely invoices are sent to sponsors.
