The 2012 WIDA Workshop was an occasion for operational users and technical developers of environmental Tactical Decision Aids (TDAs) to exchange information about requirements and advances in the area of weather support for the operation of electromagnetic systems.

The emphasis was on workshopping, with active participation by attendees both in the briefing sessions and in the poster display sessions. The workshop reviewed the advances and changes from last year, summarized the workshop briefings and discussions, and reviewed plans and thoughts for the future. In particular, the theme "TDAs for Unmanned and Autonomous Vehicles" should be considered in conjunction with the advances made toward the goal of integrating users and data suppliers’ information requirements.
