The Jim Bridger Middle School Academy of Math, Science, and Technology in North Las Vegas became the 35th GreenPower school in the state. The school's custom installation included solar panels, a weather station, and online monitoring software for both as well as additional extras such as recycling bins for every classroom. The school unveiled their new materials in a rally for seventh graders on October 23rd, 2009 where winners of poster and essay contests received savings bonds courtesy of the GreenPower program and all students received reusable water bottles.
