Greetings!

Tom Giuliano, IT Help Desk Technician I, is this year's Technologist of the Year. Tom received several nominations for the award, and all those who nominated him mentioned his professionalism, and client driven approach to fixing and installing computer equipment. Researchers also mentioned his willingness to find a bargain and save the faculty money, and his excellent skills in diagnostics.

Tom is a native of New Jersey, but has lived in Nevada since the mid-90s when his family moved to Las Vegas. Tom has worked in the IT field providing computer and network support for thirteen years. He joined the SNSC IT staff at DRI in July of 2007. Tom is currently a junior at UNLV where he is pursuing a bachelors degree in geology.

Tom GPlease join me in congratulating Tom for his outstanding service to DRI. He will be recognized on January 21st in a ceremony that will also include the service awards.
