Monday, Oct. 19, 2009 Greetings!I want to invite you to an open dialogue that we are having with State Assemblywoman Bonnie Parnell on Thursday, October 22, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Assemblywoman Parnell will be visiting the Northern Nevada Science Center to learn more about our research mission and will participate in a question and answer session at NNSC in Stout A with video conference to SNSC 182. Parnell first served in the Nevada Assembly in 1999 through 2002 and then again in 2004 through the present. She is the current chair of the Assembly Committee on Education. Parnell is affiliated with the Nevada League of Women Voters; Board, Retired Senior Volunteer Program; Retired Public Employees of Nevada; National Education Association; Honorary Life Member, National Parent Teacher Association (PTA); Board, Northern Nevada Development Authority; Associate Member, Carson City Chamber of Commerce.
