Greetings!

I want to invite you to a open dialogue that we are having with State Senator Steven Horsford today,  Tuesday, September 22, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Senator Horsford will be visiting the Southern Nevada Science Center to learn more about our research mission and will participate in a question and answer session in SNSC Room 182 with video conference to NNSC Stout A/B.

Horsford has served in the Senate since 2004 in five special and three regular sessions. This past session he was the Majority Floor Leader, Co-Chair of the Senate Committee on Finance and served on the Senate Committees on Government Affairs; Health and Education.

Horsford is a member of the Senate Presidents' Forum; National Black Caucus of State Legislators;
National Conference of State Legislatures; Democratic Leadership Council; Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee; National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Las Vegas Chapter; Latin, North Las Vegas, and Urban Chambers of Commerce; The Council of State Governments-WEST; National Network of Sector Partners.
