Dedication Ceremony for the Computational Research and Visualization Building and Great Basin Science Sample and Records Library | Print |  E-mail

Greetings!

Thursday is an important milestone in DRI's 50th Anniversary Celebration and I would like to encourage all faculty, staff and students to attend.

DRI, the GreenPower Program and NV Energy welcome U.S. Senator Harry Reid and State Senator William Raggio to the Dandini Research Park to dedicate the Computational Research and Visualization Building (CRVB) and the Great Basin Science Sample and Records Library.

This is a great opportunity for DRI to thank both Senator Reid and Senator Raggio for their efforts in funding the project.

NV Energy will also make a special presentation to DRI regarding a rebate for the solar panel installation located to the East of the CRVB, as well as the company's involvement in the GrenPower Program.

We are going to have a number of outside visitors on campus that day and I want to thank you for making adjustments in your normal routine. The upper parking off Dandini will be reserved for our guests during the morning. I would encourage you to park in our main parking lot off Raggio Parkway. Also, the parking lot next to the CRVB will be closed for the event. My last request is for you to look out for visitors to our campus and reach out to them if they stray away from the designated route to the parking lot. We will have volunteers posted along the way. Many of our guests are DRI supporters and I would appreciate any assistance you can provide them such as helping them find a seat at the event.
