WHY:

Focused on the vision of inspiring better health in our communities, Renown continues to build the healthcare network of the future by working with leaders both inside and outside of the healthcare industry.

Supported by Nevada’s Knowledge Fund, the DRI Applied Innovation Center (AIC) is pioneering new approaches to precision public health and developing data science solutions that will elevate the health, longevity, prosperity and productivity of people across the Silver State.

Leveraging the AIC’s expertise in science and data analysis, Renown Health and DRI are collaborating with one of the world’s smartest companies to help northern Nevada’s largest, locally owned not-for-profit healthcare network empower patients and community members who want to take control of their health in a whole new way.

This will be one of the first community-based population health studies in the U.S. that will combine health, population and genetic information with environmental data and return health data to study participants.

This study offers an unprecedented opportunity for 5,000 northern Nevadans to help drive scientific discoveries and change the conversation about what it truly means to be healthy.

Please join us as we announce the details of a healthier Nevada and explain how Nevadans can take part in an exciting new pilot study.
