The INQUA Dunes Atlas chronologic database currently (April 2015) contains 3613 luminescence ages and 526 radiocarbon ages.  The database is continually being updated as new data becomes available through publication of research results. The distribution of these ages by dune type and region is shown here. Chronologic and related data are available for all major low and mid latitude inland dune areas, except for Europe, data compilation for which is ongoing.  Data are also included for high latitude dune fields (Arctic Canada, Alaska, and Antarctica).  Future plans include the addition of coastal dune fields to a parallel database.
