REC: Renewable Energy Center

DRI Renewable Energy CenterThe DRI Renewable Energy Center (REC) is a credible, independent authority regarding the benefits and limitations of renewable energy systems and their impacts upon the environment. The current focus of DRI’s renewable energy research is on wind energy and hydrogen applications, with developing interests in bio-energy.

The REC is the organizational umbrella under which all of DRI's renewable energy research is conducted. The REC promotes and coordinates renewable energy research, development, demonstration, and deployment activities by DRI faculty members and their partners.
