Project Description

The intent of this project is to evaluate methods for monitoring suspended particles in stormwater runoff. Specifically, this project will engage both researchers and agency representatives to review existing particle size data and methods for field monitoring and laboratory evaluation of fine particle concentrations, including science-based protocols for developing reliable, calibrated relationship(s) between turbidity, the mass of size-fractionated suspended solids, and the number of <16 micron particles in stormwater runoff.
