Project Description

This is a request for recognition as a formal collaborator in NCED. My primary interest is use of analytical stochastic models to improve conceptual understanding of Earth surface mechanics that exhibit variability on multiple scales. I am particularly interested in using these models to differentiate between natural variability and human-induced changes to the landscape. This work builds on my experience using stochastic transport models to describe the relevant features of solute transport in groundwater and streams and of sediment deposition.
