The GreenPower Program provides a variety of resources for Nevada teachers, including workshops and training for professional development, Green Boxes and curriculum, field trips, and grants and scholarships. 2013 Science and Technology Festival » The 2013 festival will celebrate science as a vital local force, offering something for everyone – families, adults, students and teachers – and demonstrating that science doesn’t just happen in school or in the lab.
Access curriculum for the various projects and lessons found in GreenPower's Green Boxes. Green Boxes can be checked out and delivered to your school, complete with enough supplies to teach your students a variety of lessons. Get up-to-date information on Nevada State Standards and find resources for building your own curriculum. Updates on opportunities for your class to visit some of our partners and other exciting places to help supplement the green learning taking place in the classroom. Options will be posted for both Northern and Southern Nevada. Earn money for your school or classroom by participating in fun activities. |
