Meet KC King, a Ph.D. student in the atmospheric sciences program.  She is a part of the EPSCoR Climate Change project, on the climate modeling team, and interested in climate models’ ability to correctly forecast teleconnections seen in the western U.S. in temperature and precipitation due to ENSO events. 

Meet Noah Fraser, a Ph.D student in hydrologic sciences. He is studing high resolution datasets of ephemeral streams to analyze flooding in non-instrumented river basins across the Southwestern U.S.

Meet Kathryn Bywaters, an Environmental Science student working on her Ph.D. at UNR. Her current work focuses on utilizing microalgae and cyanobacteria consortia as a potential source for biofuel production.
