Specifically, DRI personnel will conduct a Class I Inventory of a two-mile radius around the project area, along with a Class III pedestrian archaeological survey of the project area. This area will be surveyed using the survey intervals as specified in the SOW. Cultural resources in the project areas will be recorded as sites or isolates depending on artifact density, as defined in the SOW. We will place a permanent site marker at a datum established at each site, and record each site on IMACS forms, including completion of a site map and photographic documentation. Notable artifacts including diagnostic projectile points or other unique tools will be photographed and collected for subsequent curation. We will make recommendations of National Register eligibility for each site recorded, and will prepare a technical report of our findings. Exceptions to the above will be cleared in advance through the Dugway CRMO.
