DRI's research boat measures water clarity at Lake Tahoe
DRI has several projects monitoring sediment entry into Lake Tahoe. Using special equipment, the team measures water from the Tahoe Basin watershed, creeks and streams entering the lake, and the lake's shore. The research helps scientists understand the effects of urbanization, land use and storms on Lake Tahoe's water clarity. Project Highlights
