Gamma radiation levels in the southern Nevada area will soon be accessible around the world at the touch of a finger. Makers of the cell phone application EcoData: Radiation are expanding their global network of radiation monitoring stations to include up-to-date readings from the Community Environmental Monitoring Program (CEMP) based out of southern Nevada.

Students at Dilworth STEM Academy join a team of scientists in Antarctica as they study the molecular biology, and evolution of microscopic organisms. The work has implications for understanding impacts of climate change and the ecology and evolution of organisms in the Southern Ocean.
