DAS Research Science Themes: Extreme Weather Phenomenon

DAS faculty are pursuing a dynamic program that is modeling the atmosphere using several different approaches, which relate to the different objectives of their research agendas. The research performed by the Operational Multi-Scale Environment model with Grid Adaptivity (OMEGA) modeling group represents a unique capability in atmospheric simulation as it is based on an unstructured adaptive grid numerical weather simulation model.
