Karen Severin Karen Severin was born in Michigan and has lived throughout the US - Virginia, South Carolina, Washington, Hawaii, and California, before moving to Nevada in 1990. She has a BA & MA in US History (focus on Nevada) and a minor in Public History. Karen is an instructor at College of Southern Nevada and prior to joining GreenPower she worked in DRI's Development Office with donors and the Board of Trustees. Her hobbies and interests include bicycling, hiking, gardening, and photographing her travels in Nevada and throughout the Western US.
