climate resiliency in the southwest

Understanding Climate Adaptation Planning and Actions Across the Region

Helping federal, state, local, and nongovernmental organizations better understand the challenges and opportunities to help our communities and ecosystems become more resilient to climate-driven events.

Climate-driven events include extended drought, floods, heat events, or wildfires as well as more gradual changes such as shifts in seasonality of precipitation or temperatures.

Climate Resiliency Project FlyerLearn more about this project...

This project asks for your stories about experiences you have had trying to understand and plan for these types of events--those instances where you have been formally or informally asked to think about how these events and changes will affect the area you manage and/or live in, and your observations about that experience.

What We Can Offer Your Organization

Participating in the project can offer agencies, organizations, and companies an opportunity to discuss climate-related issues in a confidential and non-binding manner, by offering a semi-structured conversation to reflect on and identify the climate-related challenges and opportunities the region faces in upcoming decades and how your organization needs to respond.
