CEMP Summer Workshop
Visit cemp.dri.eduThe Community Environmental Monitoring Program (CEMP) will be holding its summer workshop at Brian Head, Utah from July 25-28.  The CEMP is a network of radiation and weather monitoring stations located in communities and at ranch sites surrounding the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS).  The CEMP provides local citizens with a hands-on role in station operation and data collection, and provides public outreach on issues related to the NNSS, and ionizing radiation and health.  The summer workshop provides community representatives with a basic education on ionizing radiation, and the opportunity to speak with representatives from the NNSS and invited lecturers on issues of concern to their communities.  For more information on the CEMP and to view the workshop agenda, please visit http://cemp.dri.edu/.
