184406 - Takeoff. Ci mission planned.

185440 - Climbing, 17,700'. No optical effects. Patchy Ci 7/8 coverage all quadrants.

190310 - Ci that's left is fairly thin and patchy. Approaching from the SW - we had to vector around traffic.

190600 - CART, 29,900'. Not in cloud.

190927 - In cloud E of CART, 310.

191045 - 8 miles E of CART, still in cloud. We're going to begin spiral up.

191700 - Balance EG&G.

192105 - 350, just below top. Only a few wisps of Ci at this altitude (10.66 km).

192225 - Starting back down, spiral. Not in cloud yet.

192420 - Into a Ci wisp. Bullet rosettes, some as large as 600-700 (m.

193130 - Gong to descend to As layer - Ci is gone over site now.

194035 - Picture of old circular contrail. Top of As at 20,800', T = -11 (C. Between layers at 19,600'. Tops of next layer down at 18,500', T = -6.5 (C. At -5 (C getting a few ice particles, low concentrations. At 17,000', just in and out of base. T = -3.8 (C.

195455 - Will go down to middle of As and fly upwind of CART for 50 km.

195850 - In a hole, but will continue. 200100 - Lots of plates on 2dc, also stellars.

200545 - Back inbound to CART from the WSW.

200513 - Went through a bit of Cu that came up from lower layer. We're in occasional light turbulence.

200745 - In and out of cloud - it's a little patchy. Mostly plate-type crystals. T = -11.4 (C.

200925 - Still in and out. In continuous light turbulence.

201200 - Past CART. Did 2 legs at 20,800' to 50 km out and back, along wind. Will return to base.

202235 - Land.
