The replicator penetrated a contrail durring the time period for this analysis. The ice crystals had an unusual appearance. There was a mix of plates , columns and polycolumns. Some of the crystals were shattered from impact with the film and appeared to be sublimating. The film and formvar were in relatively good condition durring this time interval.

The very high aspect ratio crystals were probably not recorded by the PMS 2DC.
