PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS:

Mr. Whitaker is a CPA/MBA with extensive financial management experience for companies ranging in size from $20 million to $4 billion in sales. Specific experience in electronics manufacturing, defense contracting and the manufacture of metals, chemicals and energy products. He is familiar with multi- locations including operations in Europe, Africa, and the Pacific Rim. Mr. Whitaker has over 9 years' experience in contracting with the government requiring FAR/DFAR/CAS. As Director of Contracts for a defense contractor his specific duties and accomplishments included being the lead negotiator in all contract negotiations; principal contact with all government personnel including DCAA, DCMAO, PCO's and ACO's. He coordinated and assisted in all proposal preparations, analyzed and reported actual results of program performance to budget and supervised professionals and clerical staff. As a Military Division Controller with a Fortune 100 company, his duties and accomplishments included presentation of monthly financial results to senior management; development of company's cost accounting policies for pricing government contracts. In both positions he worked directly with all levels of management. He was the principal contact with customers and government auditors.
